Climbing for Charity
Dr. Shehla Ebrahim is off climbing mountains again. This time she’s climbing up to K2 base camp in Pakistan – a remarkable feat of 5,400 meters!
Most physicians choose a quiet beach to relax on holiday from their busy clinics, but not Dr. Ebrahim. She likes to climb mountains and raise money for under privileged women. This year, her climb will raise funds for Opportunity International, our partners in a new relationship established with both Afterglow and Ambleside Dermedics. Dr. Ebrahim also donates a percentage of her daily sales from both clinics to this non-profit organization that provides financial products to impoverished, hard working women around the world.
In past years, Dr. Ebrahim has climbed Kilimanjaro, and to the base camp of Mount Everest – all for charity (and a great workout!)
Her staff wish her the best of luck and look forward to her safe return.
